What policy ideas, topics, or local housing challenges would you like to discuss and get feedback on from the full HOME coalition during our fall “Discussion Series?”
Discussion Series will feature a short presentation from a HOME member or external expert on the policy idea or issue, followed by open conversation from the coalition on questions, solutions, concerns, and insights on how that policy might touch down in your community.
Examples from yesterday’s meeting: adjusting AMI limitations to be more understanding of multigenerational households, social housing, CEQA reform, policies to transition renters to homeowners
Legislative Update
All bills must pass out of their policy committees by TODAY. Up next: Appropriations Committee, and then floor session at the end of May.
May Revise will be out soon, keep an eye out for housing dollars
